Skill Development Training Programs (SDTP)

Programme

Provides short-term skill development training programs aligned with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) to underprivileged/unemployed youth for gainful employment.

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

CIPET's Skill Development Training Programs (37 Nos.) are NSQF aligned and approved by National Skills Qualifications Committee (NSQC) under MSDE, Govt. of India. These programs involve 20-30% theory and 70-80% practical sessions, industrial visits, soft skills, and personality development. CIPET aims to provide employment to about 80% of candidates in the Petrochemicals / Plastics Processing and allied industries upon successful completion.

Programme

Offers skill up-gradation programs for individuals and employees in the plastics industry to enhance and update their skills.

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

These programs are conducted for individuals and groups, include CAD/CAM programs, onsite/tailor-made/modular programs for industry personnel, in-plant/exposure programs for final year college students, specialized programs for working professionals, and seminars on Waste Management (Plastics / e-Waste). Examples include CAD/CAM Siemens NX with Mould Design & Development, CNC Milling Programming & Operating, Plastics Processing and Testing Techniques.

Programme

Collaborative training centres offering industry-specific training programs tailored with industry input to update personnel with the latest technology trends.

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

These short-term courses are constantly fine-tuned based on close collaboration with industry to address skills shortages in the plastics industry. They allow personnel to solve technical problems through interaction and exchange of ideas with CIPET faculty.
