DeepTechX, the Integrated DeepTech Accelerator Program, is run by Startup Réseau with Unicorn India Ventures (UIV). It is built to find, de-risk and accelerate deeptech startups that already have working technology and now need validation, customers and investors. The organisers describe it as a working due-diligence platform: startups move through a bootcamp, an incubator and an accelerator, and each stage narrows the group.
The programme focuses on six verticals:
- Energy: next-generation battery chemistries, solid-state cells, advanced BMS, thermal storage, green hydrogen, industrial decarbonisation
- Semicon: fabless ASIC design, RISC-V, edge AI processing, GaN/SiC compound semiconductors, sensor interfaces
- Space: satellite subsystems, earth-observation payloads, propulsion, in-orbit compute
- Defence: autonomous tactical UAVs, electronic warfare and counter-UAS, advanced composites, secure tactical mesh communications
- Biotech: point-of-care biophotonics, synthetic biology, molecular diagnostics, bio-materials, precision therapeutics
- Agritech: soil microbiome bio-inputs, multispectral crop sensing, autonomous field robotics, precision yield analytics
Only startups registered or operating in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana or Odisha can apply. The programme runs from November 2026 to March 2027 in a hybrid format: the bootcamp and incubator are virtual, and the top five startups pitch at a Demo Day in Mumbai.
There is a programme fee of ₹40,000 + GST per startup for the bootcamp, which is refunded in full to the 20 startups selected for the incubator. The programme itself takes no equity and the startup keeps its IP. The top startup may receive a seed investment from Unicorn India Ventures, subject to due diligence.

Applications are reviewed and shortlisted founders are invited to a follow-up call. From 500+ applicants, about 100 startups join a 2-week virtual bootcamp, the top 20 move to a 60-day virtual incubator, and the top 5 go through a 30-day accelerator ending in a Demo Day in Mumbai. The top startup may receive a seed investment from Unicorn India Ventures after due diligence.

DeepTech startups at TRL 3-5 with a working prototype, MVP or validated technology, defensible IP or a technical moat, a technical founding team, and a clear market problem.
Which states are eligible?

Can I apply with just an idea?
No. The program is for startups that have moved beyond the idea stage.
