It is not a grant, and it is not an open call with one deadline: each subsidy has its own claim window, generally within one year. The guidelines for claiming were notified on 12 August 2026 and run for five years unless extended.

How selection works: The district office verifies the claim and forwards it to the Director of Commerce and Industries. A State Level Committee scrutinises and approves it, and the amount is paid into the unit's bank account. Land, building, training and trade fair claims need prior government approval of the plan or estimate.
How to apply: Fill the prescribed claim form and submit it to the concerned District Commerce & Industries Office within the stated time. A recipient must undertake to keep the unit running for five years after receiving a subsidy, or refund it.
