Incubation

A student-led incubation route for tech ideas, from pre-incubation through to a startup company.

Best for: Students with an innovative tech idea who have a faculty mentor

  • Grant support for selected startups

ACTS, the institute's Incubation & Startup Cell, supports student project teams through three phases: pre-incubation, incubation and startup.

What you get

  • Help with project development, business planning and mentoring.
  • Advice on intellectual property and commercialising technology.
  • Discretionary seed funding, subject to available funds.

Who can apply

  • A student Project Coordinator with a team and an innovative idea.
  • A faculty mentor from the institute for the project.

How selection works: a committee verifies the documents. ACTS decides on seed funding and may reject an application without giving a reason.
