What you get, who can apply and how to apply

The FI Agentic Program is Founder Institute's flagship programme. It runs as a dated cohort, in person through a local chapter or fully online, and closes with a Demo Day. The Hyderabad chapter runs it with IIIT Hyderabad's CIE and describes an eleven-week in-person cohort. The Bengaluru chapter lists an in-person cohort from 23 February to 28 April 2027, with an early application deadline of 17 November 2026. Online cohorts are open to founders anywhere.

  • Businesses that can scale through technology. The programme typically does not accept founders building non-scalable service companies such as consultancies and agencies
  • The programme states that fewer than two in five founders make it through it

How to apply: Go to the join page, choose a city, and describe your idea or company — about 15 minutes. The Entrepreneur DNA Assessment is the second step. Chapter cohorts have their own application form on the chapter page. You sign an Entrance Agreement to enrol. The equity pledge is signed about two-thirds of the way through the programme, not at enrolment, and activates only at a qualified equity financing from outside investors.

Cohorts charge an entrance fee that varies by city and by deadline; the chapter page shows the figure. It is fully refundable before the kickoff session and partly refundable before the third session, and payment plans are available. Dates and fees differ by chapter, and the Hyderabad chapter's dates are given differently in different places: the application call we hold for that chapter is marked closed with a deadline of 4 August 2026, while the chapter page lists 3 October to 12 December 2026 with a deadline of 3 October and still shows an applications-open banner. Confirm the current intake on the chapter page before applying.

FI Bootcamps are short, focused courses of a few weeks, run separately from the Agentic cohort. They take no equity. Founders enrolled in FI Agentic get free access to one bootcamp and a discount on the others, and people who complete a bootcamp get priority admission into Agentic cohorts.

Founder Capital is Founder Institute's global fund. It invests only in companies from the Founder Institute Network: all graduates are reviewed, and top performers are asked to apply. It does not take direct pitches from outside the network.
