IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation (IITTNiF) is a Section 8 not-for-profit company incorporated in December 2020, set up to host the Technology Innovation Hub in Positioning and Precision Technologies (PPT) at IIT Tirupati. Funded by the Department of Science and Technology with Rs 100 crore over five years under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), the hub focuses on advancing technologies critical for autonomous navigation, geospatial mapping, and smart infrastructure.
IITTNiF operates across four verticals: technology development, startups and entrepreneurship, human resource and skill development, and international collaborations. The foundation takes research to the prototype stage through cutting-edge technology development and then supports commercialization through its startup ecosystem. It has invested in ventures working on areas such as anti-jamming GNSS, hyperspectral cameras, and GIS solutions for agriculture and education.
Deeptech startups working on positioning technologies, GNSS systems, geospatial analytics, autonomous navigation, and precision instruments. Entrepreneurs in Andhra Pradesh and South India seeking incubation with access to DST funding, IIT research infrastructure, and expertise in cyber-physical systems and precision engineering.
