• SARTHI कॉल स्नातक या उससे ऊपर के आवेदकों की माँग करती थी। योजना की प्रेस कवरेज इसे Maratha, Kunbi, Maratha-Kunbi और Kunbi-Maratha समूहों के संस्थापकों के लिए बताती है।

NETRARIT Foundation (NRiT) RIT-TBI is a technology business incubator at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rajaramnagar, Islampur, Sangli district, Maharashtra. It is a Section 8 non-profit company registered with the Registrar of Companies and funded by the Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS), Government of Maharashtra. RIT is its host institution.

What NETRARIT offers

NRiT lists mentorship, co-working space, pre-incubation and incubation support, prototype and product development support, IP support, funding support, market and client connections, and branding and networking among its incubator services. It says its mentor pool is made up of more than 25 mentors from manufacturing, agritech, electronics, IT services, healthtech, robotics, AI, ML and IoT, and edtech.

It describes itself as supporting 30 plus incubated startups, and says ten startups were incubated through what it calls Cohort 2.0. These are NRiT's own figures and its pages do not date them.

How the programmes work

NRiT's site carries three named programmes: a pre-incubation programme, a scholarship scheme it hosts for the state, and a business-idea competition. None of them shows a current open intake.

The Pre-Incubation Program was launched on 4 August 2024 and opened by the NRiT CEO. It ran for 12 weeks and was built around sessions with industry experts, R&D experts, business experts, mentors, chartered accountants and company secretaries, for aspiring entrepreneurs and students. The site shows only that 2024 run.

The SARTHI scholarship is a scheme of SARTHI, and NRiT was selected as a host for it in March 2024. The one call published on NRiT's site ran from 3 to 31 January 2025, and the application form linked from the programme page no longer accepts responses.

IDEATHON 2024 was a business-idea competition held across Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur and Pune with four host institutes. More than 150 groups took part, with students from more than 50 institutes, and the rounds ran in February and March 2024.

NRiT also reports that two of its incubated startups, Orobot Technologies and Bhupalgad Technologies, won the Sangli district round of the Maharashtra Students Innovation Challenge on 11 December 2023. That challenge was organised by MSInS and the state skill development department, not by NRiT.

NRiT's pages do not say whether incubation carries a fee or takes equity, or whether an incubation intake is open at the moment.

Who can apply

NRiT says it works to build the startup ecosystem of western Maharashtra. Its pages do not set out general eligibility rules for incubation, and they do not say whether founders from outside the region can join. The co-working seats are described as currently allocated to on-campus startups, so ask before assuming a seat is available. The hosted SARTHI scheme has its own criteria, described under that programme.

Facilities

NRiT's incubation centre is on the third floor of the library building at RIT. It has around 3000 square feet of space with three office cabins, 15 startup cubicles and three conference halls, giving 60 plus startup seats. The seats are currently allocated to ten on-campus startups.

RIT, the host institution, has also set up an AICTE-supported IDEA Lab for turning ideas into prototypes. NRiT's pages do not say what access incubated startups get to it.

Funding and partners

MSInS supports NRiT over a five-year period to build the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem in western Maharashtra, and NRiT reports further sanctions from MSInS for 2024-25. It also lists HDFC Parivartan CSR support for two startups. NRiT states that it holds 12A, 80G and CSR-1 registrations and that the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, has approved it as a business incubator for MSME ideas.

NRiT also runs a Skill Development Center, which it describes as having run more than 15 courses, trained more than 750 people and placed more than 200.
