प्रतियोगिताएँ और छात्र सहायता
SMVITM ने K-Tech Innovation Hub और MiTiE के साथ मिलकर BE के दूसरे और तीसरे वर्ष के छात्रों तथा MBA के पहले वर्ष के छात्रों के लिए Ideathon 2026 आयोजित किया। पंजीकरण 10th April 2026 को बंद हुआ। MiTiE के अपने न्यूज़लेटर के अनुसार, कर्नाटक सरकार की एक संस्था KITS ने नवाचार और स्टार्टअप सहायता के लिए SMVITM की 10 छात्र टीमों का चयन किया।
