Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana is an umbrella scheme for food processing infrastructure with multiple sub-schemes: Mega Food Parks (up to ₹50 crore grant per park), Integrated Cold Chain & Value Addition (35–50% grant), Agro-Processing Clusters (up to ₹10 crore per cluster), and individual unit grants.

Proprietors, companies, cooperatives, FPOs, SHGs, trusts and PSUs engaged in food processing. For Mega Food Park, an SPV with minimum equity of ₹5 crore is required. All applicants must have a term loan sanctioned from a scheduled commercial bank.

What is the maximum grant available?

Mega Food Park: up to ₹50 crore per park. Integrated Cold Chain: 35–50% of eligible project cost. Agro-Processing Clusters: up to ₹10 crore per cluster. Individual unit grants vary by sub-scheme.

What food categories are covered?

Fruits and vegetables, dairy, meat/poultry/fishery, ready-to-eat/cook foods, cereals, spices, honey, beverages, and other processed food products.

No equity is taken. PMKSY provides non-repayable capital grants. However, all projects must be backed by a term loan from a scheduled commercial bank.

Applications are submitted through the SAMPADA portal at sampada-mofpi.gov.in. You will need a detailed project report (DPR), land documents, term loan sanction letter from a bank, and registration certificates. Sub-scheme-specific guidelines are available on the portal.
