A student hackathon by AmpliNxt built around live infrastructure and city-systems problems.

Best for: Undergraduate students in teams of one to five

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

The Construct.AI BHARAT Hackathon is organised by AmpliNxt around real infrastructure and city-systems problems such as roads, buildings, traffic, waste and energy. It runs over four rounds — idea submission, a valid problem statement, an MVP submission and a demo day — with participants presenting to a panel of industry and ecosystem stakeholders. It is a student competition rather than an accelerator or incubator.

Who can apply

  • Undergraduate students in their 1st to 4th year, from any discipline
  • Inter-college and interdisciplinary teams are allowed
  • Teams of one to five members
  • No prior startup experience required
  • No DPIIT registration required

How to apply: Register your team through the form on the hackathon page and submit a problem statement for one chosen theme.

Choosing the right programme

AmpliNxt's programmes are built for different people, so match yourself before applying:

  • An incorporated AECO startup with a working prototype: NIRMANA-100, whose second cohort has applications open.
  • An AECO startup beyond MVP, preparing for real industry deployment: NEXACON 100.
  • A startup at pre-product, MVP or go-to-market stage wanting year-round support: the incubation service.
  • An undergraduate student with an idea for the built environment: the Construct.AI BHARAT hackathon.

How applications work

Every programme has its own online form that asks for company and founder details, your state, your focus area within AECO, your stage of development, and a pitch deck. The incubation service accepts applications all year; the cohort programmes and the hackathon run to dated timelines, so check the programme page for the current intake.

What the cohorts expect

  • A working prototype or live proof of concept. The accelerator cohorts are not for pure idea-stage teams.
  • A clear AECO problem. Programmes expect you to be solving a real problem in the built environment.
  • At least two active team members. The cohorts ask for a committed founding team.
  • Incorporation. NIRMANA-100 is for incorporated startups.

The hackathon is the exception: it is open to undergraduate students with no prior startup experience and no DPIIT registration.

About AmpliNxt

AmpliNxt Foundation is a Section 8 (not-for-profit) innovation platform focused on the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) ecosystem. It was established under the aegis of SoftTech Engineers Limited and works from Baner in Pune, Maharashtra.

Rather than a single incubator, AmpliNxt runs a set of programmes for founders building for the built environment: cohort accelerators that take startups from a working prototype towards market readiness, a year-round incubation service, and a student hackathon. Its programmes are run for a pan-India audience, and a physical presence in Pune is not required to take part.

What they support

AmpliNxt's programmes are for startups working in the AECO sector and adjacent fields, including green construction, deep tech, and the use of AI in construction technology. The accelerator cohorts expect a startup to already have a working prototype or a live proof of concept and at least two active team members, and to be solving a clear problem in the built environment. The year-round incubation service is open to startups at pre-product, MVP, or product-with-go-to-market stage that build on technologies such as deep learning, BIM and GIS. The student hackathon is separate: it is open to undergraduate students of any discipline, in teams of one to five, with no prior startup experience and no DPIIT registration required.

Programmes

AmpliNxt's main offering is NIRMANA-100, a 100-day cohort programme for incorporated AECO startups that is non-equity and runs virtually across India. Its second cohort has applications open. The foundation also runs NEXACON 100, a curated 100-day, non-equity cohort for AECO startups preparing for real industry deployment, which ends in a graduation showcase rather than direct funding. Alongside these it offers a year-round incubation service and the Construct.AI BHARAT hackathon, a student competition built around live infrastructure and city-systems problems such as roads, buildings, traffic, waste and energy.

Who runs it

AmpliNxt Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit, established under the aegis of SoftTech Engineers Limited. It operates from SoftTech Towers on Baner Road in Pune.

How to apply

Each programme has its own application form on the AmpliNxt Foundation site, where applicants submit company and founder details, their stage of development and a pitch deck. Applications to the incubation service are accepted throughout the year, while the cohort programmes and the hackathon open and close on dated timelines, so the current status is best checked on each programme's page. The site publishes two different general enquiry addresses — info@amplinxt.com in its page footers and info@amplinxtfoundation.com in the body of its contact page — so founders may see either when getting in touch.
