About BIG Foundation — Incubatee route
The Incubatee route is for someone at BMSCE ready to build a venture rather than just a prototype. Like the Innovator route, it is aimed at the college's own community and runs through the BIG Foundation's committees and board.
What you get
- A structured path from a business plan to formal incubation
- Co-working space with high-speed internet and testing through networked labs
- IPR and legal support, mentoring, and funding for projects that show promise
- An advisory panel that includes founders and operators from industry
Who can apply
- BMSCE innovators wanting to turn an idea into a venture
How selection works: A screening committee reviews your application form. On approval you submit a basic business plan, and if it is accepted you prepare an incubation term sheet and report to present to the BIG Foundation Board. After the board's evaluation, contractual documents are prepared and you are inducted as an Incubatee.
How to apply: Complete the BIG Foundation application form and work through the business plan, term sheet and board presentation. The BIG Foundation is contacted through the innovation cell on campus.
