The Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE) in Bengaluru supports innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. Led by Dr. Savithri Bhat, CIIE empowers innovators to develop solutions for real-world problems and build sustainable business models. It offers incubation support and access to its Idea Lab, which provides various prototyping and electronics facilities. These include 3D printers, scanners, CNC machines, laser cutters, PCB milling, and reflow ovens, designed to help convert ideas into prototypes and products for societal, defense, space, and industrial applications. CIIE also fosters a network of mentors and advisors, facilitates technology transfer for commercialization, and enables interactions with industries and funding agencies.
