Equirus InnovateX Fund is an early-stage technology venture fund. It describes itself as for founders and by founders, and says it is led by experienced entrepreneurs and angel investors who have built and scaled startups and exited their own companies. The fund is a Category I alternative investment fund registered with SEBI, and its investment manager is Equirus Wealth Private Limited, part of the Equirus financial group. The group lists a Lower Parel office in Mumbai, so we show Mumbai as the base, but the fund page itself does not print an address.

Who the fund backs

The fund's page opens with a question to founders: looking for seed investments? It says it invests in disruptive businesses and has invested across industries from healthcare to fintech to SaaS. It lays out three investment themes. Deep Tech covers quantum computing, synthetic biology, robotics and automation, advanced materials, climate tech, precision agriculture, defence tech, drone tech and space tech. Software and SaaS covers edge computing, cybersecurity, AR/VR, agri tech, generative AI, construction tech, supply chain tech and developer tools. Fintech covers payments, lending, insurtech, wealthtech, account aggregation, cross border banking, neobanking and fintech for financial inclusion.

What founders get besides capital

The fund says it works closely with the companies it backs, offering mentorship, guidance and access to its network of industry contacts. Because it sits inside Equirus, it also points to help later on with growth stage fundraising, M&A and IPO, and with managing founders' wealth. Treat these as stated intentions and ask the team what a concrete engagement would look like.
