About Boeing BUILD
Boeing BUILD, short for Boeing University Innovation Leadership Development, is run by Boeing India, not by IIEC. IIEC is one of seven partner incubators for the 2026 edition and hosts its programme page. Selected teams go through a regional boot camp, pitch to a jury, and the strongest go on to Boeing Innovation Day in Bengaluru. The 2026 call has closed, so treat this as a programme to watch for the next edition.
What you get
- A place in a national competition against teams from across India
- One-to-one mentoring from Boeing engineers, industry veterans and startup ecosystem people
- A structured curriculum aimed at building entrepreneurship skills
- The chance to pitch to a jury at Boeing's own campus
- Grant support for the top teams
Who can apply
- Students graduating in 2026, enrolled in engineering or related programmes
- Pre-seed or idea-stage startups that have received no external funding, including recently graduated engineering students
- Ideas in aerospace and defence, technology, social impact or sustainability, though Boeing says to apply even if yours does not fit a theme
- One application per team
How selection works: Boeing says it judges two things — what problem you are solving and how, and why it should work with your team. It asks for clear, concise writing without marketing language, and says uniqueness of the idea matters less than your approach, so several teams tackling the same problem can all be taken.
How to apply: Through Boeing's own application form linked from the programme page when a call is open. Questions go to build@boeing.com.
