IIEC, IIT Gandhinagar

The IIT Gandhinagar Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IIEC) is a Section 8 company promoted by IIT Gandhinagar to implement the institute's strategy for incubation, intellectual property management, technology commercialization, and entrepreneurship development. IIEC provides startups with mentoring, access to professional investors, business networks, and financial support including the Nidhi Prayas program for early-stage prototyping grants.

Since IIT Gandhinagar's first graduating batch in 2012, multiple alumni and student ventures have been incubated at the centre. IIEC connects incubatees with mentors to help develop and scale their technologies, identify target markets, and receive legal and IP guidance. The centre is developing advanced wet and dry laboratories along with rapid prototyping infrastructure to support high-technology startups. Programs like BUILD provide structured venture-building support for founders at the ideation and prototyping stages.
