Nidhi PRAYAS Grant at IIEC IIT Gandhinagar

Applicant Type:

• An Indian Citizen, at least 18 years of age.
• An Individual Innovator OR Team of Innovators.
• A Startup that is no more than 7 years old from its date of incorporation.
• Innovators in employment OR Students from any R&D organization/Academic Institution (must have a NOC).

Startup Specifics:

• Annual turnover/funding must not exceed ₹15 lakhs for any financial year since inception.
• Indian applicants must hold 51% or more equity shareholding.
• The applicant cannot be a promoter or significant shareholder (>10%) of another company at the time of application and grant approval.

Project Type:

• The project should identify a well-defined problem and propose a novel technical solution.
• The idea should lead to prototype development and be implementable within 18 months.
• The project must have a clear roadmap for commercialization or startup creation.

Ineligible:

• Projects involving pure software development, e-commerce, or app-based solutions.
• Fundamental research, student academic work, or exploratory work.
• Innovators who have already received NIDHI PRAYAS support for the same concept.
