About Machinery, tools and testing instruments for technical textiles (Component I)
The mission co-funds projects that develop machinery, equipment, tools and testing instruments for technical textiles in India, with the aim of building a domestic design and manufacturing base. It is a route for organisations that can design and build machinery, so most founders will not fit it unless they make machinery.
What you get
- Project funding shared between the Ministry of Textiles and the selected implementing organisation, with the Ministry's share capped by the guideline.
Who can apply
- Organisations that can design and build high-end machinery or instruments. The guideline sets who may lead a project, so check it before applying.
How selection works: Projects are selected under the guideline. Selected organisations other than government bodies must furnish a bank guarantee against any advance payment.
How to apply: Follow the application format in the machinery guideline published on the mission's website.
