TiE Mumbai membership

TiE Mumbai is a membership body, so almost everything it runs sits behind joining. The chapter describes its members as entrepreneurs, startups and aspiring professionals who want to form a new business, take an existing startup further, learn what is happening in the market or build a network.

What you get

• Business Guidance Camp: a one-to-one mentoring session with a senior entrepreneur or professional about a specific challenge you are facing, usually about an hour, held at the mentor's office.
• Idea Validation Hotline: a fifteen-minute one-to-one phone call with a TiE Charter Member to pressure-test an idea.
• Office Hours With Investors: a closed-door session in which each startup gets twenty minutes with an investor to talk through its idea and its open problems.
• Investor of the Month: an investor and their team meet a group of founders and talk through how they invest and what they are looking at.
• Member Mixer, Business Builder Breakfast and We Mead Business: informal networking and talk formats with founders, operators and industry experts.
• Discounted attendance at TiE events, including TiEcon and the TiE Global Summit.

Who can apply

• Anyone who fits the chapter's description of a member. It states no incorporation requirement, no sector or stage restriction and no geography gate.

How selection works: there is none. Membership is a request, not a competitive intake, and none of the sessions above is a selected cohort.
