Who Should Apply The project competition is open to students from various institutions across India. Participants are encouraged to form teams of 1 to 5 members to develop and showcase innovative projects. This is an ideal opportunity for students passionate about robotics, artificial intelligence, IoT, aerospace, and emerging defence technologies. Tracks & Themes The competition welcomes projects across several critical domains, including: Robotics: Innovations in autonomous systems, automation, and robotic applications. Artificial Intelligence: AI-driven solutions for defence, data analysis, and intelligent systems. IoT (Internet of Things): Connected devices and smart systems for various defence applications. Aerospace: Projects related to aviation, space technology, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Emerging Defence Technologies: Solutions addressing contemporary challenges in national security and defence. Format & Timeline The competition unfolds in two distinct rounds. Round 1 involves an online screening process where teams submit their problem statements, detailed project descriptions, PowerPoint presentations, a 3-5 minute video demonstration, and supporting technical documents. Shortlisted teams will then proceed to Round 2, the Final Expo, held offline at BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Bengaluru. This round requires a live physical demonstration of the project, a presentation to an expert evaluation panel, and a Q&A session with industry veterans, culminating in final scoring and ranking. The main expo and final presentations are scheduled for April 30, 2026. Prizes A total cash prize pool of ₹50,000 is awarded to the top-performing teams. 1st Prize: ₹25,000 + Certificate 2nd Prize: ₹15,000 + Certificate 3rd Prize: ₹10,000 + Certificate All winners will also receive certificates of achievement.
