About this subsidy
Goa-based startups can be reimbursed part of the cost of registering their company name and logo as trademarks. The reimbursement is 50% of the cost, up to INR 25,000 per applicant.
It is for startups that have reached production or service delivery and have already completed the trademark registration. The scheme is run by Goa Startup Mission under the Goa Start-up Policy 2021.

Selection Process
Applications are reviewed by the Startup IT Promotion Cell (SITPC). Selection is at the discretion of SITPC and based on its guidelines. The SITPC reserves the sole right to accept or reject applications, and the benefits of the scheme are not considered an entitlement.

The scheme covers 50% of the cost of trademark registration for your startup's company name and logo, up to a maximum of INR 25,000 per applicant.
Who is eligible to apply?
All startups certified by the Startup IT Promotion Cell (SITPC) with a valid startup certificate number, an operational office in Goa, and successful trademark registration are eligible. Directors' bank accounts must be linked to Aadhaar.
Is there a limit to how many startups can avail this scheme?
Yes, benefits can be availed by up to 200 applicants per year, selected at the discretion of SITPC.
Are only digital payments considered for reimbursement?
Expenditure paid for digitally would be primarily considered. In cases where digital payments are not possible, SITPC may, at its discretion and based on due diligence, admit the expenditure.
