What you get, who can apply and how to apply

DCEI's incubation is for companies founded by DA-IICT graduates. Admitted companies get individual office space and shared services on the Gandhinagar campus, for up to two years, with one possible extension of a year.

What you get

  • Individual office space, computers, internet and telephone lines.
  • Shared printing and secretarial support, where available.
  • Mentoring from a pool in technology, finance and legal matters.
  • Meetings with campus visitors such as alumni and industry professionals.
  • Possible seed loan support on merit and need, for physical incubation only.

Who can apply

  • DA-IICT graduates.
  • Companies registered under the Companies Act, or registered within three months of joining.
  • Students may join as part of a team but cannot lead a proposal.

How selection works: an executive summary and business plan are screened by the DCEI executive council, may be presented, and are reviewed by outside experts. DCEI decides admission at its own discretion.

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

Under the Government of Gujarat's Start-ups and Innovation scheme, an individual or group with an innovative idea or concept can apply for assistance. Approval rests with the scheme's committee. DCEI is the nodal institute that mentors innovators under the scheme, and it helps applicants prepare the business proposal.

Who can apply: any individual or group of individuals with an innovative idea or concept, as the state policy sets out.
