Dhirubhai Ambani University, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is a private university established by an Act of the State Government of Gujarat, and was formerly known as the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. It specialises in information and communication technology and marked twenty-five years with a silver jubilee. Its teaching runs from undergraduate B.Tech. degrees in ICT, mathematics and computing, electronics and VLSI design, computer science and AI, and electronics and communication with AI, through dual BS-MS degrees, to master's programmes in ICT, information technology, data science, agriculture analytics and design, and doctoral programmes taken full-time or part-time. Research is grouped into seven areas including AI, machine learning and data science, algorithms, communications and signal processing, software systems and networking, and VLSI and embedded systems. Startups are supported through the DAU Centre for Entrepreneurship and Incubation.
