About FIED, IIM Kashipur

FIED (Foundation for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development) is the incubation centre of IIM Kashipur, established as a Section 8 Company to create an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in Uttarakhand. Built across 20,000 sq ft on the IIM Kashipur campus in Udham Singh Nagar district, FIED focuses primarily on agriculture technology and agri-entrepreneurship, while also supporting ventures in tourism, education, and sustainable technologies.

Since 2019, with support from the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, FIED has incubated 60+ agri-focused startups under the RKVY-RAFTAAR Agri-Business Initiative, providing financial assistance ranging from INR 5 lakhs to INR 25 lakhs. Through nine editions of its flagship Uttishtha entrepreneurship summit, over 500 agri-tech startups have been showcased to policymakers, investors, and government officials.

Beyond funding, startups benefit from capacity-building programs, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
