About this funding program
The Iterative Winter 2027 (W27) Accelerator is a comprehensive 12-week program designed for high-potential startups targeting the Southeast Asian market. Iterative, a prominent Southeast Asia-focused accelerator and venture investor, provides significant capital alongside intensive mentorship and strategic guidance to help founders scale their ventures from idea to growth stage.
The program begins with a mandatory 3-4 day in-person founder orientation, followed by a primarily remote curriculum, offering flexibility while ensuring critical initial engagement. Startups receive substantial investment via a post-money SAFE, eliminating program fees and providing clear, upfront funding. This accelerator is built to support founders tackling large problems with venture-scale potential, emphasizing technology as a key differentiator.
Iterative's model focuses on hands-on support, including weekly one-to-one office hours with experienced founder lead partners. The curriculum is tailored to prepare startups for successful fundraising, culminating in a Demo Day that provides exposure to a wide network of investors from Southeast Asia, the United States, and other global markets. Participants also gain long-term access to Iterative's vibrant founder community, fostering a supportive ecosystem for continued growth and collaboration. The program runs two cohorts annually, with the Winter batch typically from February to May.

Selection Process
The selection process is thorough, beginning with an initial review of the 26-question application form by Iterative's team, community founders, and other expert reviewers. This initial screening aims to identify startups with a strong market opportunity, validated problem, and capable founding team. Shortlisted applicants advance to a 30-minute interview with a Venture Partner, providing an opportunity to delve deeper into their vision and progress. Final candidates then undergo an interview with an Iterative General Partner, where the ultimate investment decision is made, requiring approval from just one General Partner. Iterative specifically looks for a large problem felt acutely by the market, clear evidence of this problem's reality (validation or traction), and founders with the unique ability to solve it, ideally with technology as a key differentiator. The program seeks startups with venture-scale potential, aiming for $50-100 million in revenue within 5-10 years.
