Selection Process
The selection process involves an initial screening of participating teams, which will be held at the VTU Regional Centre on July 6, 2026. This preliminary round will assess the innovation and potential of the submitted ideas, ensuring they align with the challenge's objectives to build a global food brand around Kalaburagi Rotti. Teams that successfully pass this screening will advance to the final round, scheduled for July 13, 2026. During the final round, teams will present their detailed business models and solutions to a panel of expert judges. The winning team will be selected based on the novelty of their approach, scalability of their idea, market potential, feasibility, and the strength of their proposed execution plan for developing a successful and globally recognized food brand.
