AI Venture Factory

AI Venture Factory is a technology business incubator based in Chennai, India, focused on artificial intelligence. It describes itself as India's first AI-focused technology business incubator and operates as a Section 8 non-profit entity.

What it is

AI Venture Factory presents itself as an AI-focused technology business incubator working from Chennai. It states that it is a Section 8 non-profit entity with 12A and 80G filings, and that it runs on research grants from people and organisations that want the local AI ecosystem to keep pace with developments elsewhere. The organisation does not publish a street address or a building, so Chennai is as precise as its own pages get on location.

What it runs

The one named activity on AI Venture Factory's pages is a no-code AI hackathon it ran in 2024, which it bills as India's first no-code AI hackathon, where participants built AI products without writing code. That event is listed as completed, and no current intake or open application route is shown in its place. Entries were judged on meaningful use of AI, a no-code approach, and societal impact, rather than against a published set of formal eligibility rules. Beyond the hackathon, the site frames its work in terms of AI incubation, talent development, and acceleration services, but these are described as services rather than as programmes with a stated intake, eligibility or application route, so there is no open programme a founder can apply to today.

Scale

AI Venture Factory's own site reports a small set of self-reported figures: six AI startups incubated and two startups launched, alongside counts of qualified experts and industry partners. These are the organisation's own numbers as shown on its live site, not independently verified totals, and they describe a young, small operation rather than a large one.

How to get in touch

There is no live application form on the site for an ongoing programme. For its 2024 hackathon the only remaining call to action is a newsletter sign-up for future events. The organisation lists a general contact inbox, info@aivf.io, for enquiries. Founders searching for "AI Venture Factory", "AIVF" or "how to apply" should expect to register interest and wait for a future call rather than find an open intake.
