About AgCatalyst — Agripreneurship Mentor Development Program

AgCatalyst is not a founder programme. It is a seven-day, 42-hour residential certificate course for the people who support founders, built with the CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing.

It covers entrepreneurship essentials, how agri-entrepreneurship differs from startups, business models, design thinking, building an ecosystem, being an effective mentor, spotting promising student entrepreneurs, building pre-incubation support, government and private sources of startup funding, and the basics of technology commercialisation and intellectual property rights.

Who can apply

  • Faculty members and scientists from ICAR and agricultural universities.
  • Professionals from government and private institutions.
  • Mentors, technical experts, consultants and advisors working in agriculture and allied sectors.

Cohort 1 ran from 10 to 16 June 2024. No later cohort has been announced, so check with the incubator before planning around it.
