About Prasoon — seed stage support
Prasoon is the seed-stage track for agri startups incubated at the centre. It is meant to take a startup past the prototype: launching the product, service or platform into the market, strengthening operations, accelerating commercialisation, and building the record that makes a later round possible.
Who can apply
- Startups incubated under the Seed Camp, showing consistent progress as judged by the investment committee.
- You must have an MVP built on an innovative technology, product, service, process or business model in agriculture or an allied sector.
- You must be a legally registered Indian entity and have completed at least one month of incubation at the centre.
- You must qualify as an Indian startup under DPIIT recognition guidelines. Indian subsidiaries of multinational or foreign companies are not eligible.
- A startup that has already taken seed-stage support under the RKVY agribusiness incubator programme cannot apply again under the same scheme.
How selection works: startups present to expert investment and review committees. What is offered is set against the genuine requirement of the startup, the strength of the business plan, commercial potential and scalability.
How to apply: there is no separate form. Apply to the AgriFood Startup Seed Camp first.
