A flagship 1-month hybrid incubation programme to identify, nurture, and accelerate innovative startups in the agriculture and food sector.
AgriFood Startup Seed Camp is designed to identify, nurture, and accelerate innovative startups in the agriculture and food sector. Through this program, promising early-stage startups receive structured incubation, expert mentoring, and access to funding opportunities to transform their innovations into scalable ventures. The programme combines practical training, mentorship, ecosystem access, and funding facilitation within a focused 1-month hybrid incubation journey. Applications are typically invited 2–3 times each year. Selected startups go through a 1-month hybrid incubation programme, combining in-person sessions at the AAU Incubation Center, Anand and online expert sessions. The program focuses on validating startup ideas, developing viable business models, building market-ready products, and connecting startups with investors and government support schemes. What the Programme Offers includes Startup Selection & Incubation, Structured Startup Training (startup fundamentals, product validation, business model development, market strategy, financial planning, investment readiness), Mentorship & Expert Guidance, Access to Infrastructure (Incubation workspace, University labs and testing facilities, Technical experts and faculty support), and Funding Facilitation through schemes such as RKVY RAFTAAR, Startup Gujarat, SSIP, other innovation grants, and connections with banks, angel investors, venture capital networks, and corporate partners. The programme is open to early-stage startups, innovators with prototypes or MVPs, students and researchers with commercializable technologies, innovative Agri-entrepreneurs, Food processing innovators, Agri-tech and rural innovation startups, and all other allied sectors of Agriculture. The program is offered free of cost to selected startups. For support beyond the one-month programme, AIC Anand Foundation offers additional engagement models under a SAFE arrangement, where selected startups may offer a small equity stake for continued incubation support. Certain components of the programme will require the physical participation of at least one key founder at the AAU Incubation Centre, Anand, Gujarat.

AIC Anand Foundation is an Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) set up under Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, Government of India. It is part of India's nationwide network of world-class incubation centres designed to nurture innovative startups in their pursuit of becoming scalable and sustainable enterprises.
AIC Anand Foundation provides startups with physical infrastructure, capital equipment, operating facilities, sectoral mentors, business planning support, access to seed capital, industry partnerships, and skill development programs. It serves as a technology and entrepreneurship hub for the region, helping translate innovations into market-ready products and solutions.
