Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) is a premier incubation centre for life sciences, agriculture, food, and MedTech startups. Jointly established by the Department of IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka, and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, BBC is located within Bangalore Helix Park at Electronic City.
The centre occupies over 50,000 sq ft of built-up area on a 10-acre campus, featuring a Central Instrumentation Facility and state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure. BBC provides access to advanced scientific equipment and shared facilities, enabling startups to focus on innovation without heavy upfront capital investment. Beyond infrastructure, the centre offers mentorship from industry experts, structured incubation programs, and networking opportunities.
