About Bombay Shaving Company
The Anandi Fellowship is a college-length programme run as an initiative of Bombay Shaving Company, the men's grooming brand. It is aimed at students, not founders: you do not need a startup, a prototype or revenue to take part.
How the fellowship works
Students enter through Anandi-NEAT, a pen-and-paper entrepreneurial acumen test sat in 17 cities across India. The top rankers are invited to a three-day in-person bootcamp in Gurgaon, and a small group is extended the fellowship at its end. Fellows then spend the years of college in paid summer internships with partner mentor organisations, and are offered a full-time Entrepreneur-In-Residence role at the brand on graduating. A fellow who starts a company before turning 27 can take up a seed investment from the brand, on terms stated on the fellowship site.
Who can apply
Students in grades 11 and 12 at any school in India, and first-year undergraduates. The programme does not depend on the college or course a student chooses.
Scale
The fellowship says its summer internships are offered through more than 30 partner mentor organisations. These are the programme's own figures.
