About Green energy reimbursement
Units that install solar, wind or hybrid solar-wind systems in the policy's capacity range can have part of the purchase and installation cost reimbursed. The money does not come at once: it is released in three parts as the system keeps running.
What you get
- Part of the cost of buying and installing the system is reimbursed
- Paid in three instalments, after six months, one year and two years of installation and operation
Who can apply
- New units and existing units, with or without a substantial expansion
- The system must fall within the capacity range set in the policy
How to apply: Claim through the District Industries Centre. The department has not published a form, so ask the District Industries Centre what it needs at each instalment.

- Trade fair and exhibition participation reimbursementReimburses part of the registration fee and space rent at recognised national or international fairs, with a lower limit each time you take part.
- Common facility centre usage reimbursementReimburses part of the cost of using a recognised common facility centre for research, testing or packaging, for up to three years.
- Export freight reimbursementReimburses part of the transport cost to an Indian international port, air or sea, for exporting units, for up to five years.
- Export sample shipping reimbursementReimburses the cost of shipping export samples to an overseas buyer, each year for two years.
- Reserved industrial plots for underprivileged applicantsA tenth of the plots in each Ladakh industrial estate is reserved for women who are single mothers or widows, persons with a physical disability and third gender persons.
- Industrial land allotment (Ladakh Industrial Land Allotment Policy 2025-35)Plots in Ladakh's industrial estates are leased by computerised draw, with shares reserved for priority industries, start-ups and underprivileged applicants.
