Quick Answer
50% of the cost of using a recognised Common Facility Centre reimbursed, up to Rs. 1 lakh per unit per year for three years.
About this subsidy
Small producers in Ladakh rarely have their own lab, R&D bench or packaging line, so the Sustainable Industrial Policy Ladakh 2022-27 pays half the bill when they rent one. A unit that uses any recognised Common Facility Centre — a research centre, testing lab for R&D purposes, packaging facility and the like — can claim back 50% of what it spent, up to Rs. 1 lakh per unit per year, for a maximum of three years.
Industrial units (new and existing, irrespective of substantial expansion) and registered cooperatives and FPOs qualify, provided they are in the handicraft, handloom, agro and food processing, or aromatic and medicinal plant sectors.
