The Alpha Fellowship
FellowshipThe Alpha Fellowship is a partnership with Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) that places top early-career engineers into full-time roles at fast-growing EO and a16z portfolio companies, or provides capital for future founders to start their own company pre-entity, pre-idea, pre-team.

The fellowship offers two tracks: 'Join a Startup', where fellows take full-time engineering roles with salary and equity at portfolio companies with a two-month fellowship programming overlay; and 'Found a Startup', where accepted founders receive an initial grant, up to $250K investment, and automatic final interview for speedrun. Both tracks include an in-person experience of 8 weeks, access to the a16z speedrun and EO Ventures communities and events, curated dinners, founder AMAs, and weekly small-group conversations with engineers, operators, and investors.
