Programmes they run
Standing programmes at Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences, separate from the funding calls above.
The institute runs one incubation body and it is campus-gated. GGGIC is described by the institute as existing to empower "students, alumni, and faculty members" of the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions, and that is the only statement of audience published on either the institute's site or the centre's own site. There is no application form, no eligibility page, no incubation policy, no cohort and no deadline anywhere on either domain.
The Gyan Ganga group's own incubation centre, described by the institute as being for its students, alumni and faculty members, with no published application route.
Best for: Students, alumni and faculty members of the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions, Jabalpur.
- Idea – Prototype
- Continuous — a standing campus centre, not a cohort
- In person
What you get, who can apply and how to applyHide details
GGGIC is the incubation and innovation centre of the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions in Jabalpur. It is a standing campus body rather than a dated programme: there is no cohort, no intake window and no deadline, and the institute publishes no application form for it.
What you get
- Pre-incubation help — idea screening, validation, opportunity assessment and early-stage mentoring.
- One-to-one mentoring, technical and business guidance, and go-to-market preparation.
- Use of the centre's facilities, which the institute lists as co-working spaces, innovation labs, high-speed internet and meeting rooms. No access policy, booking route or price is published for any of them.
- Help looking for funding, including a pitch deck. No scheme or source is named.
Who can apply
- Students, alumni and faculty members of the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions. That is the only audience the institute names for the centre.
- Nobody else is invited. Neither the institute's site nor the centre's own site describes terms, a route or a contact for a founder from outside the group.
How selection works: Not published. No selection process, panel, shortlist or criteria appears on either site.
How to apply: There is no application form. The centre's only published route is direct contact — its inbox at gggic@ggits.org, or the phone number on its contact page. Say which of the three groups you belong to, describe the idea in a page, and ask whether the centre is taking ideas in at the moment.
Labs & facilities
Equipment and space on campus.
The facilities below come from a single line on the institute's incubation page. Nothing is published about how they are booked, what they cost, or whether anyone outside the institute can use them.
Co-working space, innovation labs and meeting rooms
Access via Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences
Listed in one line on the institute's incubation page as "Co-working spaces, innovation labs, high-speed internet, and meeting rooms". No photograph, floor area, desk count, booking route, price or access policy is published, and nothing says these are available to anyone outside the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions.
Support services
Help offered alongside funding and space.
Business advisory
The centre describes one-to-one mentorship, technical and business guidance, go-to-market preparation, and help with a pitch deck.
Recognitions & empanelments
Official approvals this incubator holds.
One credential checks out, and it is a listing rather than a programme. Neither the institute nor the centre claims recognition from the Department of Science and Technology, NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission, DPIIT or Startup India for GGGIC. An item on the institute's home page about an Atal Community Innovation Centre project belongs to Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, which the institute itself names as the grantee; the institute describes itself only as one of the partner institutes.
Host Institute, MSME Innovative Scheme (Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises)
Listed at entry 254 of the Ministry's published List of Host Institutes for the incubation component of the MSME Innovative Scheme, as "GYAN GANGA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SCIENCES" (JABALPUR, MADHYA PRADESH), checked 24 September 2026. The institute also states the designation itself, in the visible text of its own incubation page: "Supported by MSME, Government of India". The ministry's list gives no approval date, no period and no status column, so whether the recognition is current cannot be told from it, and being listed is a capacity registration rather than evidence that the institute has ever hosted an approved idea. A re-check of the ministry's page on 25 September 2026 failed — it returned the site's own error page for a second day — so the 24 September check stands.
How to apply to Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences
First, check that this is for you
- GGGIC is a campus incubation centre. The institute says it exists to empower "students, alumni, and faculty members" of the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions, and that is the only statement of audience either site publishes.
- If you are not a GGITS student, alumnus or faculty member, there is nothing here to apply to. No page invites outside founders, and none sets out terms for them. Look instead at incubators in and around Jabalpur that publish an open intake, and at Madhya Pradesh's own startup routes.
- If you are inside the institute, you are the intended audience — but you will not find a form. There is no application page, no eligibility list, no cohort and no deadline anywhere on the institute's site or on the centre's own site.
How to approach it, since there is no form
- Write to the centre's inbox at gggic@ggits.org, or call the number the centre lists on its contact page. That is the only route either site gives.
- Say which of the three groups you are in — student, alumnus or faculty — and name your department or your graduating year. The centre's audience is defined by that relationship, so lead with it.
- Ask the two things the sites do not answer: whether the centre is taking in ideas at the moment, and what it expects you to bring. Neither is published, so the answer has to come from them.
- If you are a current student, the shorter path may be through people you can already reach on campus. The Udyaam Entrepreneurship Cell runs the events side and is staffed by students and faculty, and the centre's leaders include the Dean of Computer Science and Engineering.
What to have ready
- A one-page description of the idea and what stage it is at. The centre describes its first stage of work as idea screening, validation and opportunity assessment, so an idea with a problem, a user and some evidence is enough to start a conversation. You do not need a registered company to ask.
- A pitch deck, or a willingness to build one. Help with a deck is one of the four things the centre lists under its own offering.
- A clear ask. Mentoring, a place to sit and work, and help looking for funding are the three things the centre names. Asking for one of them specifically will get you further than asking to be incubated.
What to expect, and what not to
- Expect a campus centre, not a cohort programme. There is no selection round described, no published shortlist, no demo day and no timetable.
- Do not expect the centre's own website to tell you much. Most of gggic.in is unedited template material left over from the theme it was built on — the company history, the counters, the case studies and the news items on it do not describe GGGIC. Use the institute's own incubation page and the centre's inbox instead.
- The institute is on the Ministry of MSME's list of Host Institutes for the incubation part of the MSME Innovative Scheme. Under that scheme an innovator attaches to a host institute, but the institute publishes nothing about how it handles that, so treat it as a question to raise with the centre rather than a route with a form behind it.
- The institute's student project fund runs through its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre and reaches five student projects a year, so it is a narrow, internal route. Ask the entrepreneurship cell how projects are put forward for it.
Other things on the institute's site worth knowing
- The institute lists jobs on its careers page and runs an events page, both linked from the main navigation.
- Teaching tie-ups with Cisco, Oracle, AWS, Google, Microsoft, Red Hat, IBM and NPTEL are certification partnerships for students. They are not incubation partners and do not come with anything for a startup.
About Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences
Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences (GGITS) is an autonomous institute in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, established in 2003, approved by AICTE and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. It is part of the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions and teaches engineering, pharmacy and management. Its startup work runs through one named body, the Gyan Ganga Genesis Incubation Center, which the institute shortens to GGGIC.
Who GGGIC is for
Read this before anything else. The institute describes GGGIC as its official startup incubation and innovation hub, established with the vision of nurturing an entrepreneurial ecosystem and "empowering students, alumni, and faculty members to transform innovative ideas into sustainable business ventures". That sentence is the only statement of audience published anywhere across the institute's site or the centre's own site, and every group named in it is internal to the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions. If you are a student, an alumnus or a member of the faculty, this is your campus incubation centre. If you are not, nothing on either site invites you, and there is no second door to try.
That gate is worth stating plainly because the rest of the centre's material never repeats it. There is no eligibility page, no incubation policy, no downloadable application form, no cohort, no intake window and no deadline on either site. The institute publishes plenty of documents in this area — quality-cell reports, a research and publication incentive policy, entrepreneurship cell annual reports — and none of them is about joining GGGIC or sets out who may.
What the centre says it offers
The institute's incubation page describes four areas of work, one line each. Pre-incubation covers idea screening, validation, opportunity assessment and early-stage mentoring. Mentoring covers one-to-one guidance, technical and business advice, and go-to-market preparation. Incubation facilities are listed as co-working spaces, innovation labs, high-speed internet and meeting rooms. Funding assistance is described as support through the institute's status as an MSME-approved centre, help with seed funding opportunities, and help with a pitch deck.
Those are capability statements rather than an offer. No photograph, floor area, desk count, booking route, price or access policy is published for the facilities, and no scheme, source or recipient is named behind the funding line. The centre states its mission as becoming central India's academic-based incubation ecosystem and its goals as building an innovation culture among students and faculty, supporting idea development, prototyping and commercialisation, and promoting entrepreneurship so that graduates become job providers.
The centre's own website
GGGIC runs a separate site at gggic.in, linked from the institute's incubation page and footer. Treat it with care. Most of it is an unedited purchased business template that was never rewritten: its About page still carries filler text, another company's name in the vision paragraph, an invented company history running from 2016 to 2023, and visitor counters describing customers rather than startups. The homepage introduces the centre as an internet-of-things vendor, offers a free quote, and shows four case-study headlines that name no startup and have no page behind them. The news feed is the template's own stock articles under demo author names.
Three parts of that site are real and useful: a short list of the people who run the centre, a set of six service descriptions written for an incubation centre rather than for the template's original owner, and the centre's own contact details. Everything this profile says about GGGIC's offering is taken from the institute's own page instead, because that is where the centre is described in the institute's voice.
Recognition
The institute states on its own incubation page that GGGIC is supported by MSME, Government of India, and it appears on the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises' published list of Host Institutes for the incubation component of the MSME Innovative Scheme. That is a designation, not a programme: the list carries no approval date, no period and no status column, so whether it is current cannot be told from it, and being listed shows a capacity to host, never that an idea has been hosted. Nothing on either site says how somebody would use it.
No other recognition is claimed. Neither site mentions the Department of Science and Technology's incubation schemes, NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission, DPIIT or Startup India in connection with GGGIC. One item on the institute's home page can read as an Atal credential and is not one: the institute says it signed an understanding with Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya (RDVV), Jabalpur for a centre of innovation and incubation, and describes itself as one of the partner institutes in an incubation-centre project granted to RDVV. The grantee there is RDVV, a different organisation.
Other innovation activity on campus
Two things sit alongside GGGIC and are also for students. The Udyaam Entrepreneurship Cell runs seminars, workshops and expert talks, invites industrialists and startup founders in, and brings back alumni who have started companies. The institute also describes an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre funded by the Department of Science and Technology, through which it says annual financial assistance goes to the five best innovative student projects so they can build prototypes and move towards commercialisation. The entrepreneurship cell's own annual reports describe students visiting and being incubated at the Jabalpur Incubation Center, Smart City Ltd, which is a separate organisation in the same city.
Who runs it
The centre's site names Er. Vishesh Jain as Director, Prof. Pragyan Jain in an instructor and research role, Nikhar Vishwakarma in a research role, and Dr. Ashok Kumar Verma, Dean of Computer Science and Engineering at GGITS, among its leaders. Dr. Ruchi Pandey is the institute's incharge principal.
Where it is, and how to reach it
GGITS is on Tilwara Ghat Road, near Bargi Hills, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The institute publishes the pincode as 482003; the centre's own contact page gives 482003 in one block and 482008 in another, for the same address, and repeats that single address four times as though they were four offices. GGGIC takes mail at its own inbox and lists its own phone number. The institute has a toll-free line, a general inbox, a careers page and an events page. For anything about GGGIC, the centre's inbox is the direct route.
