I-DAPT HUB Foundation, IIT (BHU) Varanasi

I-DAPT HUB Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit company established at IIT (BHU) Varanasi under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), Government of India. It serves as a nodal Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) for technology development in Data Analytics and Predictive Technologies.

Focus Domains

I-DAPT HUB operates across five major domains: Communication, Transportation, Energy, Defence, and Healthcare — applying data analytics and predictive modeling to solve complex societal and industrial challenges.

Activities

The hub advances research in machine learning, predictive modeling, and smart data utilization, while fostering collaborations across academia, government, and industry to enable technology transfer, entrepreneurship, and skill development. It also offers call-for-proposals programs for startups and researchers working on Cyber-Physical Systems.

National Mission Context

NM-ICPS is a flagship ₹3,660 crore mission of the Government of India aimed at establishing 25 Technology Innovation Hubs across premier institutions to develop CPS technologies and build a skilled innovation workforce.
