About Incubation at KIIT-TBI
This is the general front door and it has no deadline — the form on the Incubate page stays open. You choose one of four options: physical incubation with or without funding assistance, or virtual incubation with or without funding assistance. Funding assistance is screened separately after the form, so choosing it is a request, not an entitlement.
What you get
- A desk or office on campus if you take physical incubation — you state the space you need in square feet, subject to availability
- Access to the labs, the fabrication lab and the co-working space
- Mentoring across IP, legal, regulatory and business development
- A route into the funded schemes KIIT-TBI runs for DST, MeitY, BIRAC and Startup India
Who can apply
- Startups registered as a private limited company or an LLP — the form accepts no other type
- Any stage from idea with no working product through to growth with traction
- Any of the sectors on the form, including healthcare, education, agriculture, biotechnology, manufacturing, aerospace and defence, automobile, clean tech, waste management, fintech, foodtech, IT and software, Industry 4.0 and social impact
How to apply: Fill the form on the Incubate page. It asks for founder details including Aadhaar and PAN, your address and qualification, and written answers on your product, the problem, what is unique about your solution, your competitors, your revenue and revenue model, market size and team. You also upload a pitch deck and a CV, each under 15 MB.
Note on cost: KIIT-TBI says it sends details of the incubation fee after you submit the form. Ask for the fee schedule before you commit.
