Scaler School of Technology (SST) is a residential programme in Bengaluru, one of the Scaler offerings alongside Scaler Academy and Scaler School of Business. The school describes itself as a certificate-based programme. It is not a university or college and does not confer degrees.

Scaler Innovation Lab

The Scaler Innovation Lab is the on-campus incubator at SST. The site describes it as an incubator for innovation in AR/VR, AI and ML, IoT, robotics and drones. Its stated purpose is to enable students to turn bold ideas into venture-backed companies, with institutional support and a dedicated fund.

The school's pages name several startups that were incubated there. One built an AI wearable that was featured on Shark Tank India. Another is building India's first humanoid robot. Hindustan Times reported in December 2025 that NeoSapien, an AI wearable startup, was part of the lab's first cohort.

Who can apply

The lab is for students at SST. The pages do not describe an application route for founders who are not enrolled at the school.

To join SST, applicants must be under 20 as of 1 July 2026 and have at least 60% in Class XII Mathematics from a recognised board. The school accepts students from all streams. Admission is through its entrance test, NSET, or through a fast-track route based on JEE or SAT scores.

How admission works

Applicants submit an online application, pay the application fee, and submit a video essay about their motivation. Shortlisted applicants go to two interview rounds, the first with an AI-led interview and the second with an industry-led interview focused on startup ambition and commitment. Results follow within 7 to 10 days of the interview.

The site states that 7+ industry-led startups are incubated in the Innovation Lab. The admissions page says that last year more than 70,000 students applied to SST. The site also says that 150+ companies have hired SST students. These figures are self-reported and the pages do not date them.

Who runs it

The school's pages say its curriculum is built with 100+ industry leaders and updated every six months. Its speaker list includes founders and engineering leaders from Indian and global technology companies.

The campus is in Bengaluru, which the school describes as India's startup capital. The Innovation Lab is on the same campus.
