Track record
What SR Innovation Exchange (SRiX) reports about its portfolio.
These are SRiX's own published figures and they are undated. Treat its overall totals with care: SRiX's homepage gives four different counts of startups supported (a counter reading 110+, a paragraph on the same page saying over 171, two blurbs saying over 45, and a directory listing more than 160), and its jobs, funding and investment figures also differ between the counter row and the paragraph beneath it. The TIDE 2.0 numbers shown here are the only programme-specific figures SRiX publishes and the only ones its pages do not contradict.
All figures self-reported — srix.in, as of Sept 2026.
Programmes they run
Standing programmes at SR Innovation Exchange (SRiX), separate from the funding calls above.
Two different kinds of thing sit in this list. Pre-Incubation, InnovationX, SPRINT and EmpowerHER are SRiX's own training and pitch formats, and Pre-Incubation charges a fee. The NIDHI, TIDE 2.0 and Startup India Seed Fund entries are government routes SRiX channels to the startups it incubates — they are call-based, and SRiX publishes no current call dates, so ask before assuming one is open. SRiX's homepage also shows a NIDHI Accelerator tile and a Xelerate link with no page behind them; neither is written up here.

The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme provides seed support to prototype-ready startups, bridging prototype and commercialisation. SRiX lists it among the funding routes its incubatees can reach. Incubation tracks
The routes into SR Innovation Exchange (SRiX), and what each one includes.
SRiX publishes no rate card, no space allocation and no duration for resident incubation, so the tracks below are named from what its programme pages describe rather than from a published tariff.
| Track | Type | Space | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-IncubationFour weeks, paid. Takes an idea towards a prototype and makes you eligible for the funding routes SRiX hosts. | Pre-incubation | — | Live workshops, Group mentoring, Feedback at set stages, Certificate of participation |
| SRiX IncubationOn-campus incubation at Hasanparthy, reached through Pre-Incubation, a pitch event or one of the funding calls. SRiX says it is open to entrepreneurs from across the country. | Resident incubation | — | Incubation zone, Co-working space, Administrative support, Mentorship, IP facilitation, Investor and mentor connects |
| NIDHI EiRFor science or engineering graduates going full time on a venture. Final-year students are not eligible. | Fellowship | — | Monthly fellowship for a year, Office space, Mentorship, Prototyping facilities |
Labs & facilities
Equipment and space on campus.
SRiX names its spaces but publishes no equipment list, floor area or machine inventory. Ask what the IoT lab, makers zone and prototyping zone actually hold before planning a build around them. SRiX does not name any SR University research lab as something incubatees get access to, so the university's centres of excellence should not be read as part of what you are applying for.
IoT Lab
SRiX names an IoT lab on its campus and staffs it — one of its job listings covers maintaining the equipment, managing bookings and helping startups prototype in it. No equipment list is published.
Prototyping Zone
Named in SRiX's infrastructure list. Selected NIDHI PRAYAS applicants are offered access to prototyping facilities and 3D printing.
Fabrication Lab
Named among what selected NIDHI PRAYAS applicants get, and repeated as a fab lab with rapid prototyping on the NIDHI Seed Support System, NIDHI EiR, TIDE 2.0 and Startup India Seed Fund pages. No machine list is published.
Makers Zone
Named in SRiX's infrastructure list. No detail published.
Incubation Zone
The on-campus space for incubated startups. No floor area is published.
Co-working space
Offered with administrative support to selected NIDHI PRAYAS applicants, and to EmpowerHER participants alongside incubation support.
Support services
Help offered alongside funding and space.
IP & patents
IP facilitation support, named across the funding pages. Mentorship covers IP management, and SRiX asks applicants for an IP strategy in their pitch deck.
Business advisory
Mentorship on innovation management, business development, legal compliance and raising resources, plus go-to-market and funding-process support for incubated startups.
Market access
Investor and mentor introductions, pitch sessions, demo days and networking events.
Legal & finance
Legal compliance is named in the mentorship SRiX offers, and EmpowerHER runs sessions on legal compliance and funding.
Recognitions & empanelments
Official approvals this incubator holds.
SRiX states on its own pages that it is a Department of Science and Technology technology business incubator, and it has visibly operated DST NIDHI and MeitY TIDE 2.0 calls — its events page names a NIDHI Seed Support System Cohort II, a NIDHI PRAYAS call and a TIDE grant award ceremony. What its pages do not say is which DST category it holds, when that support began, or whether it is current. We were not able to complete a check against the public government registries, so treat the credential below as SRiX's own statement.
Technology Business Incubator, Department of Science & Technology
SRiX's own description of itself, repeated across its homepage, management page and programme pages. Its pages do not name the specific DST category or publish a funding period, so whether that support is current cannot be told from them. A registry check was attempted and could not be completed.
How to apply to SR Innovation Exchange (SRiX)
Pick the right door first
SRiX runs two different kinds of thing, and applying to the wrong one wastes a cycle.
- You have an idea and want structure: Pre-Incubation. Four weeks, live workshops, ends in a prototype and a certificate. It charges a fee, and it is the feeder into everything else.
- You are a student with an innovation: InnovationX if you want a national student challenge with a pitch finale, SPRINT if your college is hosting one.
- You are a woman founder or moving into entrepreneurship: EmpowerHER, which runs monthly and annually and ends in a demo day.
- You want grant support: the NIDHI PRAYAS, NIDHI Seed Support System, NIDHI EiR, TIDE 2.0 or Startup India Seed Fund routes. These are call-based and their eligibility is much tighter than the training programmes.
How applications work
- Everything goes through one application form, reached from the Apply Now or Join as Incubatee button anywhere on the SRiX site. There is no separate portal per programme.
- Send a short pitch deck with it. SRiX asks specifically for your concept, your business model and your IP strategy — the IP section is not decoration, it recurs across their funding pages.
- Ask before you apply. SRiX's programme pages do not publish current call dates, and several of the dated intakes on the site have already passed. A message to info@srix.in or a call to the Warangal number will tell you what is actually open.
- For TIDE 2.0 specifically, write to manager@srix.in.
Check your eligibility against the exact wording
The funding routes have hard gates that the training programmes do not:
- NIDHI PRAYAS: Indian citizenship with government-approved proof, 18 or over at the date of application, and a startup whose existence and operations do not exceed seven years from incorporation. The page mixes an individual test with a company test without saying which applies when — ask which one you are being assessed on.
- NIDHI Seed Support System: a company registered in India, not an Indian subsidiary of a foreign company, with at least 51 per cent Indian promoter shareholding.
- NIDHI EiR: a completed undergraduate or postgraduate degree in science or engineering. Final-year students are explicitly not eligible. You are expected to go full time, not treat it as a gap between jobs.
- Startup India Seed Fund Scheme: DPIIT recognition, incorporated or registered no more than two years ago, technology at the core of your product, service, distribution or business model, and a cap on how much central or state government support you have already received.
- TIDE 2.0: startups using emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, blockchain and robotics.
What selection looks like
- InnovationX runs a prefinale and a grand finale. Each team gets a maximum of ten minutes: five to pitch, five for questions. A product demo or video is optional and buys you no extra time, so build it into the five minutes or leave it out.
- SPRINT is a three-minute elevator pitch to an audience of mentors and subject-matter experts. Shortlisted individuals and teams are invited into an upcoming Pre-Incubation intake.
- Pre-Incubation and the funding routes do not publish a selection process beyond the form and deck review. Expect a conversation and be ready to explain your prototype plan.
What to weigh before committing
- SRiX is open to founders from outside SR University, which is unusual for a campus incubator and the main reason to consider it if you are not a student there.
- Its facilities are named but not itemised. If your build needs specific equipment, ask what the IoT lab, makers zone and prototyping zone actually hold before you plan around them.
- Its published track-record figures disagree with each other across its own pages, so do not plan on a particular level of funding or placement. Ask what the last cohort actually received.
- Parts of the SRiX site are broken — the incubation, eligibility and services pages linked from its own menu do not load. If you cannot find something, that is the site, not you; ask by email.
About SR Innovation Exchange (SRiX)
SR Innovation Exchange, known as SRiX, is the technology business incubator hosted by SR University on its campus at Hasanparthy in Warangal, Telangana. It describes itself as a Department of Science and Technology (DST) technology business incubator, and it says it is an open incubator that welcomes entrepreneurs from all over the country. That matters when you are deciding whether to apply: SRiX is not restricted to SR University students, even though it sits inside a university.
SRiX takes ideas from the idea stage through prototyping and product-market fit, and it says it also helps startups reach growth through partners and investors. Its own startups directory lists more than 160 ventures, weighted towards health and medical devices, agriculture, electric vehicles and mobility, IoT and industrial AI. Named companies in the directory include Zithara Technologies, Autoyos, Rivot Motors India, Nemocare Wellness, Precitech Thermal, Controlytics AI, Cairovision, Vaidyuthi Mobility, Apex Cura Healthcare IT Solutions, Look Books Tech and Ripple Health Care.
How programmes work
There are two kinds of thing to apply to here, and it helps to keep them apart.
The first is SRiX's own training and pitch formats. Pre-Incubation is a four-week course that takes an idea towards a working prototype, run as live workshops with group mentoring and a certificate at the end. It charges a programme fee, and finishing it makes you eligible for the funding routes SRiX hosts. InnovationX is a student innovation challenge with a prefinale and a grand finale pitch round, open to Indian students in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. SPRINT is a short pitch event that SRiX runs inside colleges, where you get three minutes on stage and shortlisted teams are invited into the next Pre-Incubation intake. EmpowerHER is SRiX's women entrepreneurship programme, run as monthly and annual sessions on campus and ending in a demo day.
The second is the government funding SRiX channels to the startups it incubates. Its pages cover DST's NIDHI PRAYAS for idea-stage founders building a physical product, NIDHI Seed Support System for startups bridging development and commercialisation, NIDHI EiR as a fellowship for science and engineering graduates going full time on a venture, MeitY's TIDE 2.0 for startups using emerging technologies, and the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme for DPIIT-recognised startups with a prototype. These are calls, not always-open doors. The pages carry eligibility and benefits but no current call dates, so the honest reading as of September 2026 is that you should ask SRiX when the next call opens rather than assume one is live.
Who can apply
SRiX's own words are the clearest statement available: it is an open incubator that welcomes entrepreneurs from all over the country. Its programmes bear that out. Pre-Incubation is for co-founders of an idea or early-stage venture and for students and working professionals with a product idea, with no incorporation requirement stated. InnovationX is open to all Indian students pursuing a graduate, postgraduate or doctoral degree. SPRINT lists SR University students alongside students from other colleges, techies, developers and industry professionals. EmpowerHER is for women with a startup idea, early-stage women founders, and professionals or students moving into entrepreneurship.
The funding routes carry real gates, and they are stricter than the training programmes. NIDHI PRAYAS asks for Indian citizenship with government-approved proof, a minimum age of 18, and that a startup's existence and operations not exceed seven years from incorporation. NIDHI Seed Support System needs a company registered in India, not an Indian subsidiary of a foreign company, with Indian promoters holding at least 51 per cent. NIDHI EiR needs a completed science or engineering degree and explicitly excludes final-year students, and expects you to pursue the venture full time. The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme needs DPIIT recognition, incorporation no older than two years, technology at the core of the product or model, and caps how much central or state government support you may already have taken.
Facilities
SRiX names an IoT lab, an incubation zone, a makers zone, a prototyping zone, a seminar hall and a cafeteria on its campus. Selected NIDHI PRAYAS applicants are offered co-working space with administrative support, along with access to a fabrication lab and 3D printing; EmpowerHER participants are also offered co-working space and incubation support. Beyond those names, SRiX publishes no equipment list, no floor area and no machine inventory, so it is worth asking what is actually available for your build before you commit. SRiX names no SR University research lab as something incubatees get access to, so treat the university's centres of excellence as the university's, not as part of what you are applying for.
Who runs it
SR University is the stated host institution, and Mr A. Madhukar Reddy, the university's Pro-Chancellor, is Chairman of SRiX. Its advisory board includes Prof. Deepak Garg, Vice Chancellor of SR University; Ms Deepanwita Chattopadhyay of IKP Knowledge Park; Dr Sridhar Condoor of St. Louis University; Mr Ashish Deshpande, co-founder of Elephant Design; Mr Rajendra Velagapudi of Cyient DLM; and Mr Mohit Gambhir of the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell. SRiX also lists a long mentor panel of founders, chartered accountants and retired defence officers. No chief executive or programme head is named on its pages.
How to apply and where to find it
There is one route in. The Apply Now and Join as Incubatee buttons across the SRiX site lead to a single online application, and SRiX asks for a short pitch deck covering your concept, business model and IP strategy alongside it. Enquiries go to info@srix.in or its Warangal landline; TIDE 2.0 queries go to manager@srix.in. SRiX is at the SR University campus, Hasanparthy, Warangal, Telangana 506371. It also runs a careers page listing programme, social media and IoT roles, an events page going back to 2019, a blog and a gallery.
