About BEACON India
This is the most recent thing TREC-STEP has published and the only reason to watch the site. BEACON India — Building Ecosystem for Accelerating Contribution to NDC through Climate Innovation Incubation for India — was approved by the Green Climate Fund board on 29 October 2025 at the fund's headquarters in Incheon, Republic of Korea. TREC-STEP will run it with TATA Capital as partner, and SIDBI is the accredited entity to the Green Climate Fund. TREC-STEP says the programme will be launched the following year.
Nothing else is published. There is no BEACON India page, no eligibility note, no sectors, no intake and no form, and the Know More link next to the announcement on the homepage leads to a missing page. A climate founder cannot apply today. If you are building in climate, register your interest with the Trichy office by phone and check back — this is the programme to ask about.
