About White Venture Capital

White Venture Capital is an early-stage venture fund based in Singapore, at MYP Plaza on Cecil Street. For Indian founders the point to know first is that it is not an India-based fund: its only stated address is in Singapore. It does back Indian companies, though. Its portfolio page describes ShopSe as building India's largest EMI marketplace, Cashflo as India's integrated account payables and supply chain financing platform, and Credflow as a collection tool for Tally and Busy users, and it lists a Mumbai rental business among its earlier angel investments. The site does not say it targets Indian founders as a category, so read the portfolio as evidence of past activity, not a stated mandate.

Who White Venture Capital backs

The fund says it makes pre-seed to pre-Series A investments, with a focus on fintech and consumer tech. The fund says it will predominantly invest in fintechs with interesting business models, profound tech and a capable team, in a segment with a large addressable market. It says you do not need to be making revenue before you apply. Its portfolio page groups companies under an Early Stage FinTech Fund 1 heading, including Hyperface, Finsara, Enkash and Data Sutram.

Call to Adventure

The fund also describes a programme called Call to Adventure for accomplished executives and ex-founders who want to leave their jobs and build a company. It asks for working professionals with 3+ years of experience in high-growth startups or corporates, an idea with a well-defined market and problem, and a pitch deck. Selected founders are expected to go full time, and the programme is remote. Support listed includes office hours with mentors, brainstorming sessions, industry introductions, and perks such as cloud credits. The page shows an application window from 9 November 2022 to 17 March 2023, which is long past, so treat the programme as historic unless the team confirms a new intake.

How to pitch

This is an investor, not a grant or an incubator with a deadline. Its Contact page asks founders to pitch through a startup portal, a form linked from that page, and offers a separate general enquiries form. A general inbox is also listed on the site. It asks for a deck covering the founders and key people, the product, and the size of the market you serve, and says unit economics are useful but not essential for a first introduction.

What the process looks like

The fund says the process takes around 1 month from the first meeting to formal signing, depending on the deal and the information available. It says portfolio companies get direct access to the team and its mentors and advisors. The team page lists a general partner and investment advisors, several of them founders and operators from payments and fintech.

What to check

The site does not state fund size or a current open window, and its media posts date from 2022 and 2023. Confirm that the team is actively investing, and that a cheque in India-based fintech or consumer tech is within what it wants, before you spend time on a deck.
