Trademark Registration

Most Popular

Register your brand name, logo, or tagline across 45 NICE classes

Timeline: 18–24 months to certificate (™ usable from filing date)Validity: 10 years from filing date, renewable indefinitely for another 10 years each time

How It Works

  1. 1

    Trademark Search

We run a comprehensive search on the IP India Trademark Registry to check for identical or phonetically similar marks in your class. This minimises the risk of objection or opposition.

  2. 2

    Application Filing (Form TM-A)

We file Form TM-A on the IP India e-filing portal with your mark, applicant details, list of goods/services, and usage declaration.

  3. 3

    Examination Report

The Registry issues an Examination Report within 30–90 days. If they raise objections, we draft a detailed reply citing legal precedents.

  4. 4

    Publication in Trademark Journal

On acceptance, the mark is published in the weekly Trademark Journal. Third parties have 4 months to oppose.

  5. 5

    Registration Certificate

If no opposition is received (or opposition is won), the Registry issues the Registration Certificate. The mark is valid for 10 years from the filing date.
