Renew your trademark before the 10-year expiry — avoid losing your brand
Here is the full trademark renewal process, end to end — every step and who handles what. Knowing the sequence up front helps you keep documents ready and avoid the back-and-forth that delays most filings.
Renewal Notice
We monitor your trademark portfolio and notify you 12 months and 6 months before the expiry date.
Form TM-R Filing
We file Form TM-R on the IP India portal with the applicable government fee before the expiry date (no surcharge) or within 6 months after expiry (with surcharge).
Updated Certificate
The Registry issues an updated Registration Certificate showing the new 10-year validity period from the date of renewal.
Trademark Renewal is processed through the official government portal. You can file directly there, or have our experts manage the entire submission and follow-up for you.
