The purpose of this scheme is to promote IPR awareness and adoption among startups, facilitate the protection and commercialization of IPR, and provide access to high-quality IP services and resources. The SIPP scheme aims to encourage startups to protect their Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) by reimbursing the professional fees of empaneled facilitators. It provides startups with access to services related to patents, trademarks, and designs.
Reimbursement of Facilitator Fees

What You Get
SIPP reimburses the professional fees of empanelled facilitators for IP protection: up to ₹15,000 for patent filing and disposal (with or without opposition), and up to ₹4,000 each for trademark and design filing and disposal. The scheme also gives startups access to a panel of registered facilitators for patent, trademark and design filings, reducing the cost of protecting and commercialising IP.
