Vision Genix 2026 is an innovation challenge organized by MVSR Engineering College (MVSREC) in Hyderabad, designed to explore the intersection of technology and creativity. Participants will leverage AI-driven storytelling tools to create short, engaging videos through effective prompt engineering. This competition emphasizes imaginative thinking and technical skill in bringing visual concepts to life using artificial intelligence.
Who Should Apply
The event is open to individuals and teams of up to three members. No prior experience with AI tools is required; participants only need curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to experiment with AI video generation.
Format & Timeline
This is an offline event held in Hyderabad. The competition involves producing multiple short AI-generated video clips and combining them into a final cohesive video based on a given theme. The structured workflow includes selecting a theme, planning the idea, designing prompts, generating AI video clips (typically 2–6 seconds each), and editing them into a complete video of 30–90 seconds. Submissions must include the final video, prompts used, tools used, and a short explanation of the concept. Entries will be evaluated based on prompt engineering (30%), creativity and fun (25%), output quality (20%), prompt-output alignment (15%), and concept clarity (10%).
Prizes
A cash prize pool of ₹3,000 is available for winning participants.
Eligibility
Open to individuals and teams of 1–3 members. All submissions must be original, public-friendly, and adhere to content guidelines. Any form of plagiarism, offensive content, or sensitive material will lead to disqualification.
How to Apply
Registration and payment must be completed on Unstop. Following this, participants need to fill out a private Luma form to receive an approval and QR code, which confirms offline access.
