About

HackArena 2.0 – Hyderabad Zonal Round is a key qualifying stage for the flagship HackArena 2.0 Grand Finale in Delhi, organised by Ignite Room. This event brings together talented student developers,

designers, and innovators from across the Hyderabad region and nearby tech communities to build innovative solutions. Who Should Apply This competition is designed for student developers, designers, and innovators. Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members. Tracks / Themes Participants will focus on building creative and innovative solutions centered around the theme of Generative and Agentic AI. Format & Timeline Teams will first undergo a preliminary PPT submission round, where they present their proposed idea, problem statement, and approach. Shortlisted teams will then compete in an 8-hour in-person hackathon. During the hackathon, participants will develop prototypes and present their solutions to a panel of judges and mentors. Teams will be evaluated based on innovation, technical implementation, feasibility, and impact. Prizes The top 10–12 performing teams from the Hyderabad zonal round will be selected to advance to the 24-hour HackArena 2.0 Grand Finale in Delhi. Teams qualifying for the Grand Finale will receive accommodation and food during the final hackathon event in Delhi. Eligibility Open to student teams from the Hyderabad region and nearby tech communities. Teams must have 2–4 members. Participants are strictly allowed to participate in only one zonal round; any team or individual found to have registered or participated in multiple zonal rounds will face disqualification. How to Apply Teams must complete the preliminary PPT submission round to qualify for the Hyderabad zonal hackathon. The registration deadline for this round is May 1, 2026.
