About

Rise is a three-year start-up program from Akamai Cloud that provides up to ~₹1.14Cr in cloud infrastructure credits during the first year. Credits apply to virtual machines, GPU instances, cloud…

storage, and other Akamai Cloud services. Participants who stay on the platform receive continued discounts in years two and three. Alongside credits, accepted start-ups get a dedicated account manager, access to the Customer Success and Solutions Engineering teams, and 24/7/365 support engineers at no extra cost. Most applications are reviewed within one to two weeks. The program is open to early-stage, for-profit companies fewer than seven years old that plan to run workloads on Akamai Cloud. Applicants must show at least one of: paid non-founder employees, active non-friends-and-family users, initial revenue, or VC funding. SaaS, media, and gaming companies are prioritised. Managed hosting providers, MSPs, system integrators, and resellers are not eligible.

Credits are issued in monthly tranches; unused monthly credits do not roll over. First-year credits do not carry into years two and three, which instead offer discounted Akamai Cloud services. Existing Akamai customers qualify only if they have not previously received more than ~₹2.9L in infrastructure credits.

Applicants must demonstrate at least one of: paid employees beyond the founders, active non-friends-and-family users, initial revenue, or VC funding. SaaS, media, and gaming start-ups are prioritised. Managed hosting providers, MSPs, system integrators, and resellers are not eligible. Existing Akamai customers qualify only if they have received less than $3,000 in prior infrastructure credits.
