About this Opportunity

The 6th Open Challenge Program (OCP) by Electropreneur Park (EP) Bhubaneswar is an initiative to identify, recognize, and reward aspiring and early-stage tech entrepreneurs in the Electronics System Design Manufacturing (ESDM) sector. The program is supported by MeitY and the Government of Odisha. The objective is to facilitate the success of innovators through strategic networking, seed funding, mentoring, and access to state-of-the-art labs and incubation facilities. Selected startups will receive a seed grant of ₹2 lakhs, financial assistance up to ₹50,000 for components, and free software licenses, along with a range of other benefits including technical and marketing support, access to funding, and opportunities for global exposure. Eligibility

Any entity working towards innovation, development, or improvement of products, processes, or services, or with a scalable business model that has high potential for employment generation or wealth creation.
The entity should not have been formed by splitting up or reconstructing an already existing business.
Startups registered with DPIIT under the Startup India program are encouraged to participate.
Individual academicians, researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, partnership firms, and LLPs may also apply. If selected, they must register as a private limited company within a stipulated time (preferably 3 months).
Applicants should be working on innovative ideas in the ESDM sector, with a focus on areas like Semiconductor design, Energy, Process control automation, Education, Agriculture, Healthcare, Disaster Management, Smart city applications, and other innovative areas in ESDM.
