Tracks & Focus MasterStroke 2026 focuses intensely on the art and science of negotiation. Participants will be evaluated on their ability to develop robust strategies, articulate their positions clearly, and achieve impactful outcomes in high-pressure situations. Key areas include strategic thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, and persuasive argumentation. Format & Timeline The competition unfolds in two distinct rounds: Round 1: Preliminary Round (PRE) Teams will first submit a written Negotiation Brief, adhering to a word limit of 500–800 words. This brief should outline their approach and strategy for a given scenario. Following the submission, teams will deliver a 10-minute online presentation to elaborate on their strategy. The top 8 performing teams will advance to the final stage. Round 2: Mains (Final Round) The top 8 qualifying teams will engage in live, head-to-head boardroom negotiations. Each negotiation round will last 25 minutes, demanding quick thinking, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills. Judging will be based on the quality of the brief, strategic thinking, communication effectiveness, and overall professionalism during live sessions. Prizes MasterStroke 2026 offers a total cash prize pool of ₹16,400, distributed among the top performers: 1st Place: ₹7,100 + Certificate 2nd Place: ₹5,100 + Certificate 3rd Place: ₹3,100 Consolation Prize (Best Negotiator): ₹1,100 + Certificate Eligibility Participation is strictly team-based, with each team comprising exactly two members.
