Create AI Agents Championship 2027

Live final in Dubai. You register online, but the Grand Final, with 12 finalists, is held live on stage in Dubai in May 2027. The official page does not say who pays for travel or where the earlier pitch stage is held.

The Create AI Agents Championship 2027 is a global competition run by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of Dubai Chambers, for people who want to turn an idea into a working AI agent with business potential. Four category winners each receive a US$150,000 grant (about ₹1.43 crore), registration opened on 7 October 2026 and closes in January 2027, and the Grand Final is planned for the first week of May 2027.

What the program offers

The money is a grant for each of four award categories: Best Societal AI Agent, Best Personal AI Agent, Best Business AI Agent and Best Youth AI Agent (called the Top Youth-Led Venture). Each category winner receives US$150,000 (about ₹1.425 crore, or ₹14,250,000) to develop and grow their AI agent solution and business. One of the four winners also takes the top title, Dubai AI Agent of the Year, with additional funding. The organisers state that a total of US$750,000 (about ₹7.13 crore) in grants is available.

Money is not the only benefit. Every participant can use the competition platform, a Digital Academy of ten short videos, live introductory workshops on agentic AI, four advanced training courses, four practical workshops and mentorship sessions. Semi-finalists and other high-potential teams also join a Tech Accelerator Programme that offers technical mentorship, tools and expert support. Finalists get intensive pitch training and the chance to pitch to UAE government leaders, investors and industry decision-makers.

Who can apply

The championship is open to anyone, in the UAE or anywhere in the world: students, tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, innovators and app developers, technical or not. There is no minimum age. Individuals and teams of up to six people can enter. The Youth category is reserved for entries led by someone under 21 at the time of registration, and for a team the lead applicant must be under 21.

Your entry must be an original AI agent in any industry. It can be at the idea, prototype or early MVP stage but must not already be a fully commercialised product. An existing business can apply if it is proposing a new AI agent solution or capability. The agent must not be copied from an existing repository, and it must protect personal, confidential and organisational data.

For an Indian founder or student this means you can register online from India, with no need for a UAE company or residence to enter. It suits early builders who want a prototype funded and mentored. It does not suit teams whose product is already fully on sale.

How to apply

1. Register for the championship on the Dubai Chambers page to get access to the platform, the learning videos and the workshops. Each team member must register individually.
2. Join the optional learning stages: the live Agentic AI workshops (October to November 2026), the Digital Academy (November 2026) and the build courses, workshops and mentorship (November to December 2026).
3. Wait for the notice that submissions are open, then submit your AI agent prototype, a pitch deck and a demo video in January 2027. All forms and materials must be in English.
4. You may submit more than one solution during the submission stage without registering twice.

A practical tip: start from a real problem and the people affected, since the organisers describe the steps as finding the opportunity, shaping the solution and proving its value.

How applications are judged and what happens next

After submissions, 24 semi-finalist teams are announced in January 2027. They pitch on a semi-final stage in March 2027 to investors, industry experts and an independent jury, and 12 finalists are announced in March 2027. Between March and May 2027 the 12 finalists present and demonstrate a fully functional AI agent, not an MVP, live to an independent jury, investors and industry decision-makers at the Grand Final and Awards in the first week of May 2027.
