About Srinivas Narayanan: Srinivas is a distinguished alumnus of IIT Madras (B.Tech in Computer Science) and holds a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. At OpenAI, he served as CTO of B2B Applications, leading the development of AI products that transform businesses, including the OpenAI developer platform. As VP of Engineering, he built the Applied Engineering team from 40 engineers into one of the world's leading AI organizations, shipping iconic models and features in ChatGPT and developer APIs. Before OpenAI, he spent over a decade at Meta, leading engineering teams across consumer products, Oculus, and Applied AI. He also co-founded Viralizr and Tavant, and began his career at IBM Almaden Research Center. In 2025, Forbes India listed him among “30 Indian Minds Leading the AI Revolution”.
